The Bee Cause Project
For this collection, we’re teaming up with The Bee Cause Project to help protect 7 million bees by providing 300+ educational pollinator kits. This donation will help plant over 20,000 flowers in over 10,000 households and over 19,000 square feet of wildflowers on school campuses around the US. Now that’s a bee-autiful partnership.
The Bee Cause Project began with a shared passion between Ted Dennard, a lifelong beekeeper and the Founder of Savannah Bee Company, and Tami Enright, a fellow beekeeper and environmental educator. They have grown far beyond the hive; teaching collaboration, inspire curiosity, and foster steam skills through discovery-based learning in schools around the world.
The Buzz About Bees
So, what’s the buzz about bees and why should we care?!
Bees fly under the radar as the unsung heroes of our ecosystem. They happily pollinate crops by moving pollen from one plant to another, fertilizing the plants so that they can produce fruits, vegetables, and seeds. If one day we woke up and the bees had simply left the building, we would immediately see a clear and detrimental impact on our global food supply. What a buzzkill!
There is no plan Bee, so protecting our tiny pollinators is very important to our collective future. Our partnership with the Bee Cause Project will help to avoid the sting of the species’ extinction, and we think that’s the bee’s knees. In addition, every purchase of a limited-edition product from the Spring collection includes a plantable seed packet so you can grow flowers while you go!
